Save the girl child launch at President house by manoj rastogi & telemission

The Save the Girl Child campaign was launched at Rashtrapati Bhavan by Her Excellency, the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil. It was a powerful moment, and at the heart of it was media activist Manoj Rastogi. In his impactful speech, he urged society to come forward to stop such inhuman practices. During the event, 50 opinion leaders took an oath to stand against female foeticide. What’s inspiring is that the entire campaign was conceived and organised by Manoj Rastogi as part of the CSR initiative of his company, Telemission Media Private Limited. His commitment to social change has always gone beyond words—he brings it to action.

The film was broadcast on Doordarshan (DD1), the national television channel of India. It was scripted, directed, and produced by Manoj Rastogi. The documentary highlights the development and transformation in the lifestyle of the Tharu Tribe living in the lower foothills of the Himalayas, brought about through various government schemes.
